Офис The Office cast in "License to Wed" and "Evan Almighty"

I just noticed that the actors who play Kevin, Angela and Kelly all have bit parts the film "License to Wed," starring John Krasinski (Jim). Plus, Ed Helms (Andy) is starring in Steve Carrell's new film "Evan Almighty." Does it seem strange that the cast should use their connections to the lead actor to get parts? Or am I making too big a deal about this??

That's true because Kelly was also in The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Jenna's part was cut from the film. I don't think that they use their connections to get the part, I just think they probably like working together so they try out for the same movies.

The director of License to Wed, Ken Kwapis, is also a director on The Office. They all really seem to enjoy working together, so it seems natural that they would put each other in their films.

Too bad Jenna's part got cut, I thought that scene was really funny.
