I just want to know what I missed that made a lot of people dislike her. :))

I dislike her for the sudden change in her character and the terrible relationship she has with Adam. They're an awful couple. But for her its mainly her personality like she can do anything

At first I liked but then I started to be very annoying, not for the relationship with Adam because I like it. Not explain why it is more a feeling but it will be because everything was happening to her (for example dark magic,the attempt to kill...) let the other characters of the circle a bit away from the important frames. I know the main character is her but I don't like her.

I still don't understand lol. So it's mainly the point of her having Dark Magic? I don't get why that's a problem. That's the whole point about her character is to go down the dark path and struggle with it. And wasn't the attempt to kill part of the dark magic. Again I'm not mad it's just a question? :)

She can't do anything. If I'm mistaking she's made a lot of mistakes and regrets.

I never really thought I had a problem with her. I did notice a lot of the hate though. And, to be honest, I thought the Cassie character in the book was descent. Whereas, with the Vampire Diaries books, I felt Elena was annoying. Then in the Vampire Diaries show, I actually like Elena.

Anyway, one thing that annoys me about Cassie on the show, is that she's kind of judgemental. I guess since she has this dark magic, she may have taken a bit of a leadership role. Perhaps that's what the circle is reacting to. Before she came, they were just dealing with trying to open locks. After she came, it was usually about stopping horrible things from happening.

Is any of this really her fault? She didn't know she was a witch. Her mother never really explained it to her (except through the book). Plus, it was Dawn and Charles that set everything into motion. Shouldn't they be the ones to loath? Yet, somehow people really love those two characters...

^^^I guess but I also see the other characters being judgemental as well. Not just her. All people are

I loved her in the first 3-4 episodes, but after that she just turned into the worst character on the show (to be more specific- after Jake came).
I dislike her because:
1. She's stupid.
2. Plays 'I have dark magic that I can't control' card A LOT, and never takes the blame for anything.
3. Its kind of the 'leader' in the circle, although she doesn't know ANYTHING about magic...
4. She is manipulative, even more than Faye, but she hides it really really well...
5. She is annoying.

That would be all...ohh yeah I almost forgot about this one: Because Britt Robertson is one of the worst cast members on the show, alongside with Chris Zylka. She just has the same facial expression 24/7, and that really made me dislike her and her character...

1.)I don't see how she is stupid
2.)But isn't it the dark magic to blame? It's not her fault she has it.
3.)When was she ever considered the leader? If no one else will come up and take charge, isn't that on them?
4.) Can you name a moment where she is manipulative?

Yeah we all have our different opinions and love/like/dislike different characters, that's the way it has to be...but I just have to reply to your comment xD
1. She makes stupid decisions when it comes to things, that affect all of the members of the circle
2. Its not her fault she has it, but its her fault she uses it ;)
3. She has never been considered the leader, but if you pay attention you'll see that she practically took Diana's place and became the new leader.
4. As I said, she hides it very well and its hard to see it... but if you want to see a moment when she's manipulative, just watch every scene with her & Jake/Adam :).

btw I ADORE the 'bad' characters like Faye, Damon (TVD), Jenna (PLL) etc. , so its not that weird for me to dislike Cassie or any other 'good' character from a show xD.

But quick comment. That's the point of her using the dark magic because it taking over her and she can't really help it. That's Dianas fault and the other group members who let Cassie take charge. And I'm pretty sure Faye has caused problems as well.

Honestly, I think I don't like her because of the actress, Britt Robertson. She's boring and she makes her character less interesting. Phoebe, Shelley and Jessica are so funny, sweet and attractive, unlike Britt. This is also the reason why I don't like Adam (Thomas Dekker).

I think she's annoying. She can't save everyone and not everything is her fault. She should know that and start being more relaxed. Perhaps then I 'll like her again.

I dont get why people dont like her either. I think she is more badass now since her dark magic.

I love Cassie, if anything she is the underdog in this situation. Unlike the rest of her circle, she knew nothing about her being a witch. And she has a lot of pressure. She's a Blake, which makes her the most powerful (besides her dark magic) and the natural leader of the circle. Plus she does have dark magic so its a lot harder for her seeing as she has to mediate how much power she can use. Plus Faye and Diana give her a hard time. Faye is a jealous little thing and geniuely hates cassie in my opinoin. And Diana is so passive agressive over her and Adam. Plus no matter how good her intentions are, everything blows up in her face and she always ends up in trouble. So i love her ROCK ON CAS

i still don't get why people hate her and Britt does a great role i think its mostly the people that really wanted adam and diana 2 getha that hate her and people need 2 get ova the written in the stars crap

Can't stand her... I find her to be sulky, rude and very self centered. I wish there was another actress to play her because I think it is Britt that is the issue and not the writing.

at first i did because she was really nice, and wanted to find out more about magic, and wanted to help people, she seemed sweet and the nicest character, just like elena in TVD. but after episode 5 it went to shit cuz no emotion, one reaction jake had to come on the show. so she became manipulative and more "dark", then she learns she has dark magic and she become fricken evil! im fine with evil characters on the show, just as long as its not the very main character! so i just wish she was the same from the first few episodes, and also the show became to "dark" too quickly, vampire diaries kept the same "darkness" and creepiness for the past years and its found its footing, but the secret circle is way off track with this dark magic and demons i just wish it was more like TVD, not as dark ya know?;)
