Actually, quite ironically, it was my dad who suggested it. He knows I like anything vampire related. So I watched the first ep. and fell in love with it.

so I decided to watch the show

I began watching because my sister turned it on while I was in the room. Before then, the show hadn't held much interest for me.

My friend suggests me in the show there is a cute hot man and I must to see him (She talk about Paul) so I watched it and I loved it especially Paul :)

I read the first four books like 5 or 6 months before I found out they were doing a TV series. Then I saw the promos and they did it for me, when I saw Ian I was like 'oh, that's it. I'm so watching this show'. Ian was like the last drop. And I didn't even know his name :P
But I also have to admit it was because I was actually kind of obsessed with vamps...
The promos were the most important but other things convinced me: Ian, the books, vamps, the love triangle...

I learnt about it some months before it started while i was searching Ian's news..

I saw the promos, but I figured it would be too Twilight-esque; however, once I saw fanvids of this amazing heaven, I have not been able to stop watching ever since (:
