My Country Tradition

We put it up early this year during the first week of December :) It's not a live one, though, which makes me kind of sad. I like the way they smell, hehe.

Anywho, Happy Holidays everyone! :)

Not this year, because we're celebrating with my grandparents and close family in another country, so we're not having a tree this year. It would be kinda pointless seeing as we won't be home.

Tradition here is that you put the tree up on December 8 (Ian's b-day!) at 3pm because it's supposedly the time Jesus was born, I was told that since I was 9 years old and it always seemed odd to me that people "know" the hour Jesus was born so I do it at whatever time I want.
So yeah, I have it already. But the thing is that for some reason I don't like it as much as last year because my mom keeps buying ornaments for it and it looks more like ornaments with a tree that a tree decorated with ornaments... :P I loathe this year's tree, can't wait to bring it all down tbh.
