2x18 “foreshadowed” Bamon with the “If it comes down to Ты and the witch again I will gladly let Bonnie die. I will always choose you.” Bamon Фаны say that in the future Damon won’t be able to choose between Elena and Bonnie so easily. Really?? If I recall correctly Bonnie is the one who was in danger, she was the one who had a high risk of dying then anybody, and she would have died had she planned to kill Klaus like they originally intended. So wouldn’t it be natural for Damon to say that rather then say someone else’s name? Bonnie and Elena were the main ones that were probably gonna die at the hands of Klaus so that’s why Damon сказал(-а) what he сказал(-а) to Elena. If he had to choose Bonnie’s life или Elena’s life he would choose to save Elena. There’s no foreshadowing in that scene. Just desperate BD’ers trying to make something out of something that was clear from the beginning: Damon will ALWAYS choose Elena. Ты can twist that scene as much as Ты want but it will make no difference. In the end Damon stays true to his word.
