Do you mean reality as in real life?

in real life we fall in love with someone after knowing that person... at least that's my opinion

stelena= real life, delena= ilusion

Stelena is a relationship that can be easily see in real life, support, love, kindness, understanding, sometimes they had problems BUT TALKING is how the things will work out. Many people says is not possible a relationship like that but I have seen many relationships in that way and in my personal experience i had more delena relationships that stelena relationships and delena is more problem, more suffering and there is not a sane relationship.

Delena is based on the bad boy who changes for the girl. In real life bad boy doesnt change, the bad boy only influences you to be more like him and sometimes the suffering and the problems are really really difficult and not sane for neither of both.

Delena is not possible, in real world that is a big lie who girl want to fantasize with change the bad boy and turn him in the good boy but that not happen or simple the girl changes and she turn into a girl who suffering and past her life trying to tell herself lies about the relationship.

Stelena is the sane relationship that people thinks is boring, but that kind of relationship can have some future, a good future, but delena is doom because maybe for a time all is lust and passion maybe even a kind of love but a love to leave the two people in the doom.

I can see delena in the sense of moving on from an ex and dealing with the ex-girlfriend and the point of view of the girlfriend. Without the Vampire stuff.

Well I don't think either represent real life. No relationship that can be saved would be as disfuctional as DE as much as I love them- this kind of couple only survive in TV shows and the same with SE. No relationship is perfect and no relationship would survive that many break ups. Sad, but true.

stelena representing real life is not a compliment. it's too safe, cliche and boring for TV shows

Neither. Damon and Elena would not work with all of Damon's issues. They are perfect as an epic couple in the fictional world. That is entertaining.
Stefan doesn't seem to understand Elena. They don't really know each other. And there was too many lies.

There are some examples from TV couples that are realistic. But it is not DE or SE.

Most peoples relationships aren't as complicated as Damon and Elena

DELENA BEACUSE THEIR RELATIONSHIP WAS NOT MEET, KISS, ARE A COUPLE, MAKE OUT, AND BE APART SO MANY TIMES.... DELENA MEET, THEY HATE EACH OTHER, THEY BECOME FRIENDS, THEY UNDERSTAND EACH OTHER, SLOWLY THEIR FALLING FOR EACH OTHER, THE ONE IS BROKEN HEARTED WATCHING HER WITH SOMEONE ELSE, BUT AT THE END THEY WILL BE TOGETHER...LOVE CONQUERS ALL!!

Because lets face it. In reality a beautiful girl like Elena would not fall for a guy like Stefan. She would pick a hot guy like Elijah, Damon, Matt or Tyler.

Neither really....
