I have procrastinated long enough. The new season starts in less than a week, so it's finally time for me to write my death predictions for season 9.

With Carl's Последнее departure and Rick's upcoming one, I don't think there's going to be that many deaths, или important ones anyways, this season.

As usual, this contains comic book spoilers, as many of my predictions are based on them.

CHARACTERS I'M SURE WILL DIE:

GREGORY:
When: First или секунда episode.
Why: Because he's been buying his time ever since he showed up on the show. He also doesn't have a Character Portrait for this season, and he had one for Season 8. Plus, he wasn't in the trailer, other than that small fighting scene with Maggie.
How: Related to that fight scene with Maggie: That happens in the comics, right after he tries to poison her, then the people from Hilltop hang him during the night. I think that they're gonna keep the same storyline on the show.




RICK:
When: Sixth episode.
Why: Because we all know it. линкольн wants out, and he only signed for 6 episodes.
How: I think he's probably going to be killed. Either by a Negan loyalist, like Justin, или even by one of his own! Maybe a little fight with Daryl will end badly. They seem to be having one from the looks of the trailer, and I think it would be еще interesting for Rick to go that way.




JED:
When: Whenever.
Why: Because he threatened Carol with a нож to the throat.
How: I don't know. But that sort of behavior just cannot stand! That prediction is completely biased on my part, I know. But he's gotta go!




EZEKIEL:
When: Finale.
Why: Because it's close to that part in the comics, and they are promoting this Carol/Ezekiel relationship way too much. Red flag.
How: Decapitated by Alpha and displayed on The Wall.




OCEANSIDE PEOPLE:
When: In the first half of the season.
Why: There's a lot of tension in the trailer. So I'm guessing there's going to be some sort of damage caused there. I'm guessing at least one of the Oceanside people will bite it.
How: Killed.




SAVIORS:
When: In the first half of the season.
Why: Same reason as the Oceanside. One или two might fall.
How: Killed




WALL OF DEATH:
When: Finale
Why: There was a foreshadow of the Стена of Death in the Season 8 finale. When the group stops to look at some poles sticking out of the ground, making like a fence.

When the Whisperers arrive, Alpha gives a warning to everyone to not go on their territory. When they don't listen, Alpha sneaks in and kidnaps a bunch of people, decapitates them, and put their heads on that Wall. Marking her territory. I'm thinking that this will happen at the end of the season, as Beta was just recently cast.

Other than Ezekiel, one other big character will probably be on it. In the comics, it was Rosita, but I highly doubt it's gonna be her. A couple of new characters, like Luke, will probably end up on it. Mostly small small characters.
How: Decapitated.




CHARACTERS I THINK MIGHT DIE, BUT I'M STILL NOT SURE:

MAGGIE:
When: Finale.
Why: Because Cohan is pretty much on her way out, like Lincoln, as she only signed for 6 episodes this season. Though, she still didn't officially quit the show. So I'm thinking, maybe she'll go through the season and die at the end. Taking the place of Rosita on the wall.
How: Decapitated.




CHARACTERS THAT WON'T DIE BUT SOMETHING BAD WILL HAPPEN TO THEM:

ENID:
When: Probably during the first half.
Why: I've already wrote an Статья about how Enid took on the role of Sophia from the comics. (You can read it link if Ты haven't already.) There is a new family coming on the show, and they are from the comics as well. In the comics, the son of that family gets into a fight with Sophia and they are both pretty messed up after. I'm thinking this might happen to Enid on the show.
