Full confessions:

1 - The basis for Richonne has been years in the making, and they make total sense getting together, but if you say you wish there’d been some buildup to Richonne going canon, you’re attacked and labeled a hater. I wanted to see them acknowledge they’re into one another in more than a friendly fashion, and had some discussion about their feelings, some doubts, maybe him being jealous of another man he thinks moving in, etc. Not just mints, smile, sex. It was friends-to-lovers just TOO quickly.

2 - I love how Maggie is turning into her father! Hershel was my favourite character and I almost screamed when I saw Maggie with the watch in the ending of ep16. She makes a really good leader and I hope we get to see more of that in the series.

3 - Like, literally, Negan has shown more affection towards Carl and Judith than Rick has this entire season lmao. Has he even been in the same frame as Judith yet?

4 - I kinda miss Spencer. He was very misguided, but his love for Alexandria was at the center of everything he did.

5 - I don’t connect with a lot of the main characters. They are stronger than everybody, always written to have the moral high ground when feuding with recurring characters, and everybody looks up to them. It’s really frustrating. The character I connect with most is Father Gabriel because he has his high and low points, and went through a great character arc. I would like to see a main character maybe make a mistake that isn’t immediately forgiven, or just have them be in the wrong for once.

I agree with the Richonne one. I was a Richonne shipper since season 3, and the way they actually happened turned out to put me off this ship. It was so fucking random and off putting. Whateves. I guess they really needed a new Gleggie, since they knew Glenn was gonna die and now we have yet another freaking couple always tied up to the hip. Sucks, this is not what I was expecting for them, but the writers screwed it up big time. I'm just so glad they didn't do this to Caryl, I would've hated the writers forever!
