I woke up just under a day. Yes, that was a seriously strong convergence. I had a few text messages from Joshua and a few from my parents. My parents just sent a few "how is Earth going?" "Love you" texts, Ты know the usual. Joshua basically had a conversation with himself:
Hey, did Ты like the party? Sent twenty-two hours ago.
I might be free tomorrow, want to do something ;) Sent twenty hours ago.
If Ты don't want to, Ты can tell me. Sent eighteen hours ago.
Stella? Stella! Are Ты alright? Sent six hours ago.
:( Sent one час ago.
I was in hysterics after the third one. As I wiped a tear from my eye I began to think how I should reply to him. Yes. Sure. Lol. I'm alright, yeah :D Hm maybe not, quickly after having made up my mind, I unlocked my phone and typed away.
Yes I liked the party, Ты can come over to my house if Ты want :D And yes, I'm fine.I had totally forgotten about my job, crap I whispered as I used a clothes changing spell I had learned. Once I got into the office, I apologized to my colleges for not phoning in sick. They 'forgave' me and I got on with my work. My job basically consisted of stacking and signing paper-work. Not much involved if Ты think about it, I spent about seven hours (from nine until three) doing just that. My job wasn't particularly interesting but I loved the people I worked with. They're all so friendly! There are ten people in our segment:
Cindy, Johann, Kyree, Luci, Boris, Deborah, Kristy, April and Jarred. Most of the people I worked with are female. Not like that's a sign или anything. I was deep in my paper-work when my phone buzzed. Everyone turned to look at me, our employers had a strict rule about phones but I couldn't help it. I didn't want Joshua to think that I'm ignoring him, I really do like him.
"Shhh, put it on silent, hurry Stella. I hear footsteps," Cindy muttered. She was a quite girl and always obeyed the rules. What I didn't understand was that my phone buzzed, vibrated whatever Ты call it. It didn't ring so how anyone outside our segment could have heard that is beyond me. But I could hear the footsteps approaching us.
"Miss Stella," Mr Craig said, he was one of our employers and he was quite stern.
"Y-yes," I managed to blurt out *mental face-palm*I have to sound sure of myself, not scared. Luckily I don't think he heard me stutter because his expression didn't change.
"Do Ты have the paper-work for the McCartney's?" He asked, a wave of relief swept over me and I breathed out heavily. Mr Craig shifted his expression. He probably thought I was being rude. As the wave swept over me, I looked up so it might have come across as me not liking him.
"Yes sir, it's on the стол письменный, стол over there," when I realised he wasn't going to get it (the realisation happened very quickly) I rushed over to the стол письменный, стол and grabbed the papers. "Here they are, the McCartney's." He adjusted the position of his circular spectacles and didn't look amused.
"Miss Star," he started, what was he going to say next? "This is the paper-work for the Bentleys not the McCartney's." Wow Ты can really make a fool of yourself, Stella.
"Oh I'm so sorry; the McCartney's must be over there." I said, just wanting to get out of his sight. I rummaged through the pile and found what I was looking for. "Here Ты go, the McCartney's." Mr Craig nodded and walked away. What did that mean?
After that really awkward day, all I wanted to do was sleep. Just as I was about to hop into постель, кровати I suddenly jolted up as I remember that I didn't read Josh's text message.
Ok then, it read, what time would Ты like me to come over?
I look at the clock; it was half past three. He sent the text at half two. Damnit, I did it again, seem like I'm ignoring him. Why has he дана me so many chances to prove myself worthy?
What about six :)? Sorry for late reply. I sent him quickly; he seemed alright with that so I had a nap. I woke up to a doorbell. Oh crap! I waved my fingers as new clothes appeared on me. Just a casual ruffled navy blue вверх and white denim trousers. I opened the door and he had brought me flowers.
"Aw, thanks," I said, smiling.
"No problem," he smiled and we sat down on the red velvet sofa in the living room.
Not much happened, we talked for a bit had a bite to eat and he left. He did, however, bring up a topic of conversation; meeting my parents. Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope. Hahaha nope, I don't think so! Of course I didn't say that, how the heck to I introduce them anyway. (I do have a feeling of him rushing into things...) "These are my parents of Solaria, a magic kingdom by the way. It doesn't work like that. That did get me thinking that I should tell my dad of what's happening, he can be a tad bit over-protective though.
