They hadn't see the woman since setting foot in the dark forest. No one had ever really wanted to enter that Godforsaken place--not even Griffin dared set foot in there. In fact, the headmistress was actually rather scared of the place, though she'd never vocalize that. And yet the woman had found it in herself to let the three witches enter it--a part of her hoping that they wouldn't make it out alive...they wouldn't be able to stir up any еще trouble, and she wouldn't find herself at the mercy of the law for disposing of them herself. However an even bigger part of her was overcome with a much unwanted sense of guilt; they were her students...and at one point her favorites....
She gazed into the forest.
The silence was very prevalent, right from the very start. It was over taking, and almost to a point that it was rather unnerving. The three witches had long since got separated from each other. A while into the forest Darcy had found herself calling out to the others, not that anyone would hear her. A lack of echoing informed the witch that this forest somehow attained the ability to drown out any cries for help.
Clearly the forest was called Forest Of Silent Fear for a reason.

Entering the dark woods was a mistake. It was just something Stormy knew right off the bat. But she hadn't protested Icy's decision, and she lived to regret it. By this time Stormy had completely forgotten why they had even wanted to venture in here in the first place. But the reasons mattered not.
They were as good as dead.
Everyone knew no one made it out of the forest.
No one was coming for them.
And yet Stormy kept a flicker of hope with in herself. A strong need to know where her sisters were was the driving force behind it.
I'll find Ты somewhere I'll keep on trying until my dying день I just need to know whatever has happened the truth will free my soul.
And with guilt weighing heavy on her heart, Griffin made a decision; she would find the three witches.
And she'd likely spend a life time doing so.
In wasting her life to find them, she would lift the guilt from her mind. After all, a lifetime in The Forest Of Silent Fear was better than a lifetime of regret and pondering an unknown fate of her former students.

The forest was filled with an alarming amount of unknown noises. At every turn there was some screech (human или animal Icy couldn't tell which) или hoot или cry. And so she sat there taking in the nightsound.

Perhaps she could overcome and master the forest...
Yes, she would spend some time just familiarizing herself with the land and its many cries and creatures.
And then she'd take charge of them all. The forest would be hers.
She'd be the first to actually know the forest...to stop fearing it.
