It looks as if we were right as Waking Sleeping Beauty director Don Hahn (executive producer on Frankenweenie) told AICN that "the puppets are ready, the script is done and now that Tim полиспаст, бертон is clear of Alice in Wonderland... he's set to helm Frankenweenie in 3D." The 1984 short is one of Tim Burton's earlier films, a parody of the 1931 film Frankenstein based on Mary Shelley's book of the same name. The story tells of a man who brings his dog back to life after it is killed by a car. I'd rather see this than another obvious choice like Addams Family any day. You?
