Whew, very fast pacing this episode, a bit rare for Index. Then again, season 2 has felt far faster (and better) paced than season 1, where nearly ten минуты of an episode was dedicated to Touma on the phone once. Elsewhere on a bridge, Mikoto recalls how she was once told that her esper ability could potentially be used to save a lot of handicapped people, unaware that her DNA would later be used to produce experimental clones for the military. As she quietly calls for help, Touma arrives with the Sisters project document that he found in her room, demanding to know what the hell she’s doing. With Misaka down, Accelerator touches the open wound on her shoulder, giving him access to the flow of her blood and allowing him to reverse it. Some payback was in order after Oriana’s Shorthand nearly killed Seiri, and Touma gladly obliges by doing what he does best after preaching — punching girls in the face! So we’re back this week for the sixth installment of Toaru Majutsu no Railgun II. It was great seeing Kuroko-neesama and Mikoto-chin back for another episode complete Uiharu-chwan, but where’s my Saten!? She still hasn’t shown up in this season of Railgun’s run and I’m starting to get antsy.
