Coutrney's POV: I sat on my постель, кровати the Далее morning, brushing my thick brown hair. I had a bad headache from screaming at Duncan and crying like a maniac, but I don't know if I can trust him. I mean, I've hated him since we met, but there was a small sliver of trust, and now there's none.

"Look, like I told Ты yesterday, my dad abuses me in every way Ты can think of. Not sexual, that's just creepy. But I got so intoxicated with insanity that I guess I just....broke."

I was stunned.

"I'll admit it, at least I'm the type of guy who'll admit it and not keep it a secret. But that's not the point. The point is that since I like you, I'd never do anything to hurt you."

"Duncan... I'm sorry." Tears heated up in my eyes.

"It's ok, I was gonna say sorry for making Ты mad."

I sniffed. "I forgive you. But please, just stop calling me Princess and all that, because I don't like you, and Duncan, Ты know that I hate you."

Duncan's POV: Lie.

"OK." I lied.

"So...can we at least be friends?" She сказал(-а) sweetly.

"Thanks." She was about to hang up.

"Hey, wait!" I stopped her.

"I don't know, Duncan." She stammered. "If there's alcohol, then I'm gonna get drunk, and you're gonna get me in постель, кровати and then I'm gonna kick your ass."

She thought for a while, then she finally spoke.

"What time?"

"I'll pick Ты up at 5?"

Courtney's POV: Later that day, it was about 4:50, and I was all dressed and ready. I wore a short Золото drop dress, no shorter than my butt, but I wore it only because when I was at a Бейонсе концерт last month, she had a clothes give-away and I won one of her dresses.

I slipped on a pair of Золото high heels and applied sparkly розовый lip gloss to my soft lips, while fluffing my hair a bit. I heard the ром of an engine outside, and I'm like wtf?

I gulped. "OK, fine." I swallowed hard and straddled the back of the motorcycle. He slid his шлем on again and revved the enging again - and sped off. I cried out and gripped his waist with my arms, trying not to fall. I shut my eyes and rested peacefully on....his back? What the...ahhh, whatever.

In no time, Duncan parked the motorcycle in front of his lawn and took his шлем off, shaking his head of black hair.

"See? That wasn't so bad. Ты can trust me." He got off and reached a hand toward me. I slid my hand in his, and his was large compared to mine, and he walked me up to the house.

We entered, and there were hundreds of hyper teens dancing like party animals.

Duncan slid off his leather куртка - and I stared. He wore a sleeveless dark blue tank and ripped black jeans. His muscles rippled on his bare arms, and he gestured toward my coat.

"Um..."

"Princess," He chuckled and I gave him a stern look. "You can't get into a wicked party like this wearing some granny coat."

I gulped and slipped off my coat, and as soon as Duncan turned around from hanging it up, his eyes bulged and they traveled up and down my body.

"GOD DAMN!" He put his hands on my waist, pulling me toward him a bit. "Ya trying to seduce me, babe?"

I bitchslapped him in the face. "No, I'm wearing this for the party. I figured nobody would be wearing covering clothing."

"And that you're right on..." His eyes traveled to my chest, which was uncovered, since the dress had no straps."

"Stop staring!" I giggled.

"Hey, Ты want a soda или something, gorgeous?"

"Sure."

Duncan let go of me and walked to the snack table, pouring me a drink. I sat on a barstool and tapped my tan thigh to the beat of the music.

Duncan came back with a розовый plastic cup filled with dark liquid.

"Hope Ты like Pepsi, sweetheart." He handed me the cup and sat on a barstool Далее to me as I drank.

I put the cup on the counter when there was barely anything left, and grabbed Duncan's tan, muscular wrist.

Duncan's POV: Courtney dragged me onto the dancefloor, and when the Далее song started, she shrieked.

"Haha, I bet." I tried to calm her down, but that soda obviously affected her.
