Once again, it HAD good potential back in season 6!

Some parts are better than others. Even back in their best season (season 6), they were a little rushed IMO. Then later many parts of their story just became cheesy, or unrealistic.

In season 6, they started off okay. They initally had chemistry (which faded), and had a interesting storyline. But then they rushed this couple to seemingly satisfy the Brucas shippers (which didn't work, for the most part). They became completely cheesy and they had to completely change Julian's character to make it work. In season 7, they did a really weird redux of the Brooke/Lucas/Peyton triangle, only with Brooke/Julian/Alex. It made Brooke look completely insecure, and it made Julian look insensitive. Then they broke up. After multiple misunderstandings and pettty, immature behavior, they got back together. Once engaged, they became even MORE cheesy than they were before. It's always the same with these two : Act cheesy, have sex. Rinse and Repeat. The worst part is that OTH apparently wants us to see every little kinky thing they do. Gross. There's really nothing else to say, except that they got married, and had twin boys (in one episode). No chemistry. Nothing particularly interesting about them. I don't think I've ever seen a more obvious consolation prize than Julian Baker.

Liked them only in S6. In S7, it was Brucas 2.0 all over again with Brooke insecurities, her being paranoid and jealous almost all the time. The only thing I can remember about their story in S8 was the wedding and when he saved her. Nothing special in my opinion. I found S9 more bearable but nothing more.

But honestly their story is the most unrealistic on the show. At first Brooke couldn't have kids and suddenly with a miracle she has two. It was so far-fetched. An adoption storyline would have been more realistic IMO

prefer their chemistry but still they have a great story, especially in s6 it's so interesting & then it's more cute/sexy but i still love it<333
