It's been put on hold indefinitely. She doesn't know when she will get back to it. She сказал(-а) maybe in a couple years after everyone has forgotten about it. She сказал(-а) in the meantime, she'll be with her family, and she is planning on working on the sequel to her other book, "The Host" :)
