I woke up in Alices arms. She was the only one there.
"How long was I out?" I asked her
She sighed. "Only half-an-hour. The rest of them have gone out. Bella, please, Ты have to tell them. We don't know what will happen, but I can hardly do this. Please Bella."
I shook my head. "I can't Alice-"
She whipped her head to the side." The others are back" Alice stated.
I sighed, then gasped as the pain hit me again. Edward came in and looked at me screaming, then sighed. I gritted my teeth and only let a small agonized moan escape. Alice placed her hands on y stomach, and the pain lesssened. I mouthed "thank you" at her and she smiled. "ts ok," she said, then removed her hands. I sat up, and looked at everyones faces, all on me.
Edward was Далее to me, asking the Вопрос I assumed they all wanted to know. "What happened out there with Ты and the pack Bella?" he asked
I sighed. "Jacob just wanted to see me, he didn't believe that I had died, so he came up here and the rest of the pack came with him. We talked, and then we left:oh, and I fell asleep on the way back" I added sheepishly.
Edward relaxed. "Ok," he mumered. "But still, this baby, Carlisle's studied these sorts before, Ты have to let us take it out of you. Please Bella,"
I moved away from him, instantly shocked. "No Edward. No, Ты can't. How could I give up the one I love. I Любовь it as much as I Любовь you. I'll protect it with my life. There is no way that Ты are going to kill it!"
Carlisle sat down Далее to me, and Edward on the other side. Carlisle began softly. "Bella, I think that Ты should know exactly what this baby can, and will do. Many years ago, when I was with the Volturi, Aro wanted to see what would happen if a hybrid was created, the natural way. So he had two members of his guard find an innocent woman each and build up a flase relationship with them, and then-Im sure Ты get the idea. But the women, through the pregancy, they would almost die. They got weaker and weaker, until all they could do was lie down and moan. And then, after 35 days, the hybrids, they were born"
"How" I gasped
"They ripped their way out of the mothers stomach. Seeing them lying ono the floor, and then Ты would see a monster crawl out of their stomach, leaving them for dead. I remember working over them, and finally concluding that the only way to save them was to bite them. But aro wouldn't let m. While the hybrids were in the stomach of tyhe mothers, they would often break their bones, and sap their strength. Bella, I don't think that Edward could stand to see Ты like that"
I looked around and saw that Edward wasn't with me anymore. "Thank Ты Carlisle," I mumered."But I stand by what I сказал(-а) before. I will not let Ты kill my baby"
"Then the only way to save Ты is to bite you, after the-the birth"
A flashback occured to me, Jacob saying that vampire vemon is poison to werewolves.
"NO!" I screamed. "No, please dont. Please, please, please, please dont. Ты cant bite me. Ты CAN'T" I screamed at him, trying to make him understand.
Alice was back by me then, calming me down. "Bella, no ones going to do anything rash. Just calm down. We'll see if Ты can get through this first.
I nodded through my tears, and then laid back and succumbed to the pain that was threatening to wash over me again.
