Emmett's POV

My chest ached from were my сердце was beating against it. My throat was sore probably from all my screaming. I haven't screamed so much in my life. I felt a soft hand on my arm and what felt like a damp cloth on my forehead. I was very soothing. The pain wasn't there anymore, I felt the aftermath of it though. My Кости hurt, my chest ached, and my throat is sore. I was afraid to open my mouth to speak, I was afraid if I did, the screams would start again. I settled for opening my eyes, a large room unfolded before me. The walls were painted ivory with a beautiful dark mahogany dresser against a far wall. I turned my head slightly and there she was, my angel. When I saw her I could just imagine the look on my face, wide eyes and a giant goofy smile. I don't even now this girl and I am already embarrassing myself.
I looked back up at her, hopefully with a less goofy look on my face, she smiled. Her smile can take a person's breath away I thought. I opened my mouth to speak, praying that screams wouldn't escape instead, "Hello, what is your name?" I was able to get it out clearly,
"Hi,I'm Rosalie Lillian Hale Cullen или Rose for short, and Ты are?" She сказал(-а) in a beautiful angelic voice.
"Emmett Dale McCarthy" I answered.
"Nice to meet Ты Emmett"She сказал(-а) smiling.
"Nice to meet Ты too and uhm Rose uhm"
"Yes." she chuckled
I took a deep breath I didn't know how to ask her this but I had no other choice so here is goes, "Rose am I dead?"
She laughed then answered "No,what makes Ты say that?"
"Well, I remember getting attacked by a bear, then an Энджел came to get me away from the bear, then it felt as if my сердце was coming out of my chest." I explained.
She nodded the сказал(-а) "let me call the rest of my family then I will explain."
I nodded. "Carlisle, Esme, Edward can Ты come up please." She spoke no louder than the tone we were talking in a few минуты ago, how were they ever going to hear her? Just as I finished my thought three people enter the room.
"Emmet this is my family, Carlisle my father, Esme my mother, and Edward my brother." She gestured to each one.
"Nice to meet Ты all." I сказал(-а) smiling wearily.
"So, I hear Ты think your dead." He chuckled.
"Yes sir," trying to sound as polite as I could, "What happened to me and able survived it not possible."
"I have answers." he said.
"Please tell me!" I begged.
"What do Ты know about Вампиры Emmett?"He asked seriously.
"What comic Книги taught me" I answered confused.
"What would Ты say if I сказал(-а) that everything that you've read in comic Книги were wrong?"
"I would say okay and how do Ты know?" I answered hoping I didn't offend him.
"I would know because Вампиры are real and my family and myself are vampires." He сказал(-а) with a serious look on his face.
Oh my goodness, he believed this, they all believed this.
"We wouldn't believe it if it wasn't true." Another voice answered the thoughts in my head. I turned to see who it was, Edward, the one Rose сказал(-а) was her brother.
"Rose, how did he do that?" I asked her my voice shaking.
"Edward can read thoughts."
I stared wide eyed at all of them. I started to see difference in them that I never saw in my family или friends. They were pale and flawless. Every human has at least one flaw they didn't.
"He's coming around." Edward informed.
"We live are lives as close to human lives as possible. I am a doctor, my wife, Esme, decorates our beautiful house, designs a new one when we must Переместить and a mother to Edward and Rosalie, and Edward and Rosalie go to school just like normal students." Carlisle explained.
Vampire doctor cool I thought. Edward bowed over in laughter. Carlisle looked at him, "He thinks your cool." He answered as he left the room. I shook of my embarrassment and asked, "What about the blood your around, aren't Ты tempted?I mean, don't Вампиры drink blood?"
"Yes Вампиры drink blood but, we are different, we survive only of the blood of Животные so I'm not tempted when I'm at work." He explained.
"Some of our kind do live of the blood of humans but Carlisle taught us live this way." Esme spoke for the first time, her voice soft like wind chimes.
"We should teach him to hunt, I'm sure his thirst is bothering him." Rosalie сказал(-а) in her angelic voice.
"Good idea dear." Esme said.
