Yes because Alice would've seen it happen and would alert Edward resulting in the Werewolves and the Cullens avenging her death. I'd feel so bad for them Edward especially.

I think the wolves would have taken care of it later. They were in their territory, after all. The Cullens wouldn't need to.

Yeah Edward would have wanted to do something about it coz he always loved Bella and would have wanted to avenge her just as Victoria did with James

I don't think that Edward couldn't not do something about it. If he had of killed Bella then Edward would not have let him get away with it.
