season 1 still does it for me- the writing, humour, everything is just amazing and i never get bored rewatching the episodes. season 3 gets second place for me, though not as amazing or brilliant than season 1, i loved the development of the characters and the betty/henry/gio love triangle which dominated season 2, got dropped (thank goodness for me that is). season 2 i did not enjoy a great deal. i just wasn't enjoying it as much as i should- the main characters were separated from each other, they were also dumbed down and it had the silliest and childish storylines and episodes. such as alexis going out with a dwarf, betty acting nuts after being sprayed with fey summers perfume to name.

buyt yeah, season 1 still rocks for me :).

Definitely season 1. Season 2 is my second best. Just because they developed other side characters, introduced Gio Rossi and because I wasn't aware of how unbelievably disastrous they could get in season 3 after they fired the most creative minds of the show back in season two
So badly, i stopped watching the show. this is the most boring summer I've had since I started following this show. No thrill, no expectations, just... nothing.

Season one definitely was my fave out the three seasons.... I think because everyone was on their A game.... The writing was awesome and the characters were developed to the very end... Season three is my second favorite.... There was so much going on and I really felt that their writers were trying to get the show back to season one potiental.... Season two started off good but I was disappointed with season two when they didn't atleast let Betty give Gio more of a chance than what we got.... I always felt she should have gone to Rome with him.... But the rest of the storylines were so cartoonish in season two atleast in season one and three we had realistic storylines ....

Okay WOW this was incredibly hard, between Season 1 and Season 3, both were truly awesome in my opinion. I would have to hand it to Season 1 with the writing, acting, character development, because just every episode really brought it! Each episode was truly amazing! But I picked Season 3, which may be strange given my adoration just now for Season 1, but as many of you know I am a HUGE Detty fan and Season 3 for me (regardless of what Silvio Horta may claim) was just INCREDIBLE! as far as Detty is concerned, it really set up the possibility of a future where they could be together in a very realistic (non-fairy tale) sort of way!

So my Detty side won in this battle! lol

Season 3 better than the amazing season 1? that's a first...

Hard one - as S1 is hilarious. But apart from the obvious problems they had during S2 with the writers strike and all, they did develope characters from the more 1-dimensional cartoon style to real people. Somw would say that killed the UB idea - I liked it. And they brought in Gio :-)
To me S3 was a disaster with random storylines going nowhere and some of tje most braindead characters I've ever seen on TV brought in (and I have watched some hours of TV in my life!) --- like Matt... Hellooooo? And LiLo's appearance??? Duh! S3 made betty into a stupid teenager, not a young woman finding herself. Sure hope they dig up her personality from somewhere under that pile of daft S3 manuscripts - or S4 will be a drag.

Season 2 for me. I mean, I loved season 1 but it didn't have The Sandwich Guy :P I also think that S2 had some of the best written episodes in it, like 2x17. That episode, in my eyes, was pure perfection.

2x17 was pure perfection. I drink to that!!!

out of this 3,but season 4 is my favorite :)
