I have been a vegetarian for the past twenty-one years или so. I am not one for health reasons but for animal life reasons. (It is probably the only view I have that is not a traditionally conservative view.) Though I'm not sure what the exact meaning of life for an animal is (and I wonder about the meaning of my own sometimes), I am unable to look at an animal with the belief that it would be еще valuable as a сэндвич, бутерброд (which will take only минуты to eat) than as a living thing . . .
