I need an idea for an Apocalypse

OOOH! An apocalypse! First, decide wat KIND of apocalypse:

ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE: No one is безопасно, сейф from the flesh-eating living dead. There are two basic kind of Zombie Apocalypses- 1. Where citizens live average lives while zombies attack in secret and 2. The whole world is a dead, zombie-filled wasteland. Few people are alive, and they live in the ruins of abandoned buildings.

-Zombie Land comes readily to mind.

NATURAL APOCALYPSE-
A gigantic Earthquake splits the earth. A huge tidal wave drowns millions. A massive freeze. A hurricane devastates everyone. Volcanos erupt, lava spewing down the slopes of ones that were thought to be dormant. Everyone struggles to survive.

Example of Published Works That Contain This:

-Day After Tomorrow, Numb3rs (I think)



ALIEN APOCALYPSE: Aliens invade earth. For some reason, they are usually green and have gigantic, steel killing machines and heat rays.

Examples of Published Works Which Contain This:

-War of the Worlds. There's got to be more.....




VIRUS APOCALYPSE: A dangerous disease is spreading. It could be one that instantly kills, или perhaps it turns Ты into a zombie.

Example:

-I Am Legend.



There are three basic ways for a character to "fight" the apocalypse:

1. They must prevent it from happening. This could mean evacuating people from California before it sinks into the ocean (scientists say it will, in due time) или killing the aliens with their handy-dandy spaceship before they reach earth. Or, it could mean killing an evil monster или finding the cure to the disease before it spreads.



2-The characters live during an apocalypse, but they don't really fight it. The adventures they have don't change the fact that it's the end of the world.

3-The protagonists live during the apocalypse and know how to make the world a безопасно, сейф place again. Maybe they have to steal an ancient Mayan artifact which wards off zombies, или find the cure to the zombie disease. Either way, the apocalypse has started and the characters have to end it.



COOL THINGS TO HAPPEN DURING AN APOCALYPSE-

1. The characters are on their secret quest when they pass by the ruins of an old structure. One character sighs, and says:
"That used to be The White House/Eiffel Tower/Big Ben/Pyramid of Giza. It was a strong, sturdy building, but it was no match for the Mega-tsunami/earthquake/Alien Death ray/ Zombie war."

2.The characters have to hold out and fight zombies/aliens in a well-known store (Costco, McDonald's, Walgreens)

do any of your characters have phycic powers of some sort? if not, dooes your story involve zombies? how about an earthquake или tsumnami? или Ты could send somebody to the world of nothing, или as i call it, the real minus world, and they could destroy the unverse from the inside out.

im not gonna be much help, but have u read the book 'Road'?? its about the post-apocalypse and in my opinion is good. maybe u'll get ideas from there.

When i saw this i instantly thought "Left 4 dead!" I think what Ты should do, is something kinda like left 4 dead but not really. Like 8 survivors, special infected, and безопасно, сейф house's but no big finale where Ты keep going places at the end!

Nuclear Apocalypse: World war 3 occurs nukes are launched all over causing world wide destruction and bathing the planet in deadly radiation. The ash in the sky sends the world into a nuclear winter. The air and water is toxic and there is a never ending blizzard. The only survivors, или survivor, emerge from underground bunkers или shelters after the surface is still. They must breathe through gasmasks and consume only what they can scavenge from the ruin. Every день is a cold lonely struggle to survive.
