Эй,
you!
Yes, you!
Are Ты an aspiring writer on fanpop?
Most likely Ты are, или Ты wouldn't be Чтение this! (ahem) Anyway, this is a guide to all things evil- feel free to skip around for ideas!
PART 1: THE VILLAIN
Every story has a villain. Which one is right for you? We writers have an extensive collection of all villains imaginable! Look down for a few of them.
HARMLESS VILLAIN: Usually used in comedy, a harmless villain creates overly complex plans to commit petty crimes, like stealing a watch или ding-dong ditching. For extra laughs, have the hero/heroine treat the villain as a serious threat.
ALIENS AND MONSTERS: Название says it all. Strange aliens from distant planets come to attack earth, или monsters are coming from the Secret Island of Doom to kill us all. The hero must save us from these monstrosities!
ARTIFACT OF DOOM: An inanimate object of power which is, essentially, the villain (such as the One Ring from Lord of the Rings) The characters must find a way to destroy it as it attemps to possess them, kill them, etc.
AX CRAZY: An "ax crazy" character is someone who is psychologically unstable and presents a clear danger to others. Ax crazies are capable of extreme violence, and with no way of knowing just what will set them off, this makes them extremely frightening to deal with. This mainly differentiates them from other eccentric characters who may themselves be obsessive, weird или seemingly crazy, but use this condition hand in hand with doing good, или at least not being in the way.
Despite the title, ax crazies aren't limited to using axes — most of them favor big knives, straight razors, или other nasty implements of gory death, with the truly crazy among them favoring the chainsaw, and the best of them, chainsaw axes. (Jack Torrance from the Shining is an example)
THE BARONESS: A female villain with a chilly disposition. She usually wears black and has a creepy, odd accent.
THE BIG BAD: The main villain of the story, the most powerful, strong, and (sometimes) the most ugly. S/he is the one behind the hero's whole adventure, the one who sends out the aliens/enemy fighter jets/ghost warriors/evil stealth ninjas/what-have-you. (Voldemort)
THE BIGGER BAD: So Bob protagonist has just defeated the supposed big bad, when suddenly he realizes that this man was actually just a puppet of an even bigger evil force. (ex-Fantastic Four, when the Silver Surfer is caught, it is revealed that the real danger is an alien coming to destroy the planet)
THE BRUTE-A huge, strong, villain who feels no emotion and lives to kill. Usually a gigantic evil beast, but can also be a posessed super powered human.
THE BULLY-The evil kid at school who hurts the protagonist in any way possible, physically and emotionally. NOTE: In order to count as a bully, they do not just sit around and roll their eyes at a character and say "I don't like you"...they must перфоратор, удар, пунш people in the eyes and say "I hate Ты (insert insult)
CIRCUS OF FEAR: Overnight, the circus came to town. But something's wrong — very wrong. The circus music, which should be cheerful, seems menacing. The attractions (especially the freak display) seem off, the cotton Конфеты is a sickly shade of green, the нож thrower doesn't miss, and the clowns...well, the less сказал(-а) about the clowns the better.
And people are disappearing, either consumed by или turned into the circus denizens. The killer amusement park is also like this.
CREEPY CHILDREN: They look sweet, innocent, even angelic, but there's something not quite right about them, they're too calm, too knowing.. They aren't really children anymore; perhaps they're hypnotized. (ex. Esther, from Orphan)
DEADLY DOCTOR: A Deadly Doctor, simply put, is someone who fights или kills with a medical motif, usually using syringes, pills, etc.
ELDCRITCH ABOMINATION: (Explanation from another webstie)How to describe these grotesque absurdities of natural law? There are no words that can encompass such disgusting foulness, not in English или any other human tongue. They are the Other, Alien beyond comprehension, their sole fact that they exist an affront to all the sanity and reason on which we depend. We could speak of painfully dissonant noises and nauseous colours of no physical hue, ichor-dripping vermiform tentacles and abyssal yonic voids, all structured and characterized with complex despicable mathematics, but those are mere superficialities. Monstrous and sick though these stigmata are, they do not define the abominations; they are merely among some of the еще common symptoms of their underlying wrongness.
ENEMY WITHIN: Something-a demon, ghost, или other entity-is taking over our protagonist's body. It's getting stronger, s/he's becoming posessed with unexplained rage. May turn into an ax maniac. (Ex.The Shining, again)
EVIL CHEF: Like John Silver in Treasure Island-a chef that is evil. May use cooking skills или tools (big pointy knives) to try to kill the protagonist. Sometimes, they will attempt to poison them.
EVIL OLD GUY: Sauron, witch of the west, and Voldemort's pretty old, isn't he? The evil old guy is anyone who is above sixty and still commiting heinous crimes.
Remember, Далее time Mr. Jenkins tells Ты to get off his lawn, listen-he might be hiding a laser under his rocking chair.
EVIL TWIN-Someone who looks exactly like the protagonist, but is evil. Sometimes the good guy will be mistaken for the evil twin and arrested; sometimes the good guys will unknowingly aid the evil twin или the bad guys the good twin.
FRIENDLY ENEMY- A kind, sympathetic villain who the protagonist may care about as they ruin his/her entire operation.
GLORY HOUND-This guy cares nothing about money или gain, just fame and glory, and s/he is willing to kill and sacrifice thousands to get it.
HERO KILLER-The villain who kills heros for the fun of it, или maybe to Показать off. They also may be the brute.
INVASION OF THE CHILDREN SNATCHERS-the evil, terrible villains (sometimes aliens) who steal hundreds of innocent children.
KILLER FORMER HERO-He used to be a good guy. Then (insert name here) killed (insert friend name here) Now, he's insane and in constant pursuit of revenge, possibly killing his former friends.
MAD SCIENTIST-The man who pursues science so much he goes insane over it. Two examples are: Dr Jekyll and Dr. Frankenstein.
THE MOLE: The traitor who pretends to be loyal to the protagonists while actually loyal to the Big Bad. (Snape, the triple agent, and Peter Pettigrew)
NECROMANTIC-The villain obsessed with trying to bring someone back from the dead.
OPPOSING SPORTS TEAM-The rival soccer/baseball/cricket/football/magical alien баскетбол team that the protagonists need to beat.
PEOPLE PUPPETS-Bad guys attempt to control someone's body like a pupper. Unlike the Evil WIthin, this danger comes from an outside source.
POISONOUS CAPTIVE: The captive of the protagonists who starts fights, gets ahold of crucial information, messes up some plan, and eventually escapes.
PSYCHO EX-The ex boyfriend или ex girlfriend turns into an ax maniac.
RIVAL TURNED EVIL-What starts out as a friendly competition gets out of hand when a character does something completely terrible and out of hand.
SECRET POLICE: The evil secret police will kidnap, kill, and leave suspicious notes. The protagonist must stop them.
SERIAL KILLER: Someone who kills repeatedly. May be a brute или ax maniac.
STALKER-someone who relentlessly pursues the hero/heroine for some reason. They watch them sleep and attempt to control their actions. May be a member of the secret police.
TYKEBOMB-A villain trained since birth to be evil.
VILLAIN WITH GOOD PUBLICITY-A villain who, for some reason, everyone loves and treats with respect. Except our smart protagonist. S/he is relentlessy criticized for assuming the villain with good publicity is a villain, and ostricized. In the end, s/he's right.
THE VIRUS- A disease spread by villains such as zombies.
WHO'S LAUGHING NOW:A villain who finally gets revenge, say Bob protagonist once pulled a prank on Alice that left her embarassed and humiliated for the rest of her life. He laughed his head off. Now, much later, Alice comes back to him armed with a gigantic steel robot and shouts, as she repeatedly hurts him "WHO'S LAUGHING NOW?!"

Lonely Girl
So peaceful in sleep she lies
Brown hair spilled across her pillow
I can picture her beautiful eyes
Looking into her dreams…
She looks like she’s not listening
But really she’s deep in thought
Remembering forgotten memories
When she lived life as she ought
Stolen kisses in the night
Laughing with her friends
Little did she know back then
This is where it all would end
Her сердце is filled with regret
Always looking back
She wishes she would just forget
And find happiness once еще
I don’t think she’ll ever forget you
But for now there’s joy on her face
She keeps reminding herself
It’s not a race, to be the first to find your place
Now as the sun goes down
She’ll say a prayer
Wishing perhaps for you
But really, life’s not that fair
There’s nothing this Lonely Girl can do
So peaceful in sleep she lies
Brown hair spilled across her pillow
I can picture her beautiful eyes
Looking into her dreams…
She looks like she’s not listening
But really she’s deep in thought

If you've learnt British English and you're travelling in the States,or if you've learnt American English and you're travelling in Britain, you'll notice some differences. An obvious difference is the accent, but most travellers find that they don't have too many problems with this. There are some grammatical differences, but they shoudn't make it difficult to understand people,or to communicate. That leaves differences in vocabulary, which can cause misunderstandings.Sometimes the difference is only the spelling, for example,in British English 'center','colour',and 'travelled',and in American English 'centre','color',and 'traveled'.But sometimes the word is completely different in British and American English, and it's good idea to be prepared.
