Chapter 2
The Далее morning I woke up feeling tired and worst than usually. Swollen feet, aching back, I was up all night long treating people who thought they had the flu. I knew I had to get up and go to work, I lived alone for now and somebody has to pay the rent. And right now, it's me. Just as I was about to get up the phone rang. "Hello?", "ohh thank goodness I caught Ты before Ты left. Listen jasmine, I know Ты really need this job to keep your rent up but you've been working yourself crazy down here at this clinic. You’re pregnant and I think Ты should really take the день off, stay Главная and get some rest I’m working on finding Ты a replacement for the день right know"."Ms. Jones Ты really don’t have to do that I’m sure I’ll be fine. I- "Jasmine, your baby is coming very soon. You’re due n 3 weeks. Now I may sound like your grandmother for a секунда but your little tail needs to sit down and relax for a while. Your grandmother and I are both members of the juvenile church, we could easily help Ты pay your rent until Ты have this baby and you’re capable of coming back to work". Ms. Jones was right. I’ve been working so hard these past couple of months and I did need a break. "Yes ma'am" as I hung up the phone. well, since I’m going to be out of work I think I should go to the mall and look for some cloths and little baby shoes and toys for Jeremiah. Rubbing my belly, I thought about what my life would be like when I have Jeremiah. Who is going to watch him while I’m at work and school? That means um not going to be able to see him during the day. Off to the mall I go.
Walking to the bus stop something hit me; I was going to be a parent soon. Suddenly I started to feel kinds scared. I was going to the mall to find cloths for MY BABY. A BABY that was going to be my responsibility. A BABY that I needed to take care after and watch after until he gets old enough to watch himself. While I was день dreaming I hadn’t realized that the bus had come. It was my mom’s old friend Ronnie. He was always so nice to me. "Hey jasmine, look at Ты looking all pretty baby girl. Ты going to work today?".”Nahh, my baby due soon so they gave me a couple of days off. I figured I would due a little shopping for myself before the baby душ tomorrow, so I’m headed to the mall." Of course he was going to let me on the bus free because I was pregnant. But also a friend of the family's. He started telling me all about his family and how they talk about me whenever they have a family get together. At that moment, I felt so special, еще people care for me then I thought. I thought no-one cared about at all. But I guess I was wrong.
After leaving Ronnie, I felt like a new person. The first store I went into was baby gap. The cloths there were so tiny, and cute. There was this little hat and gloves set for 2 dollars. It was blue, white and yellow my Избранное colors, of course had to buy it. I found him a рубашка some pants and a little куртка to go with it. I couldn’t wait to see him in his little outfit that his mommy brought for him went to foot locker and found him 3 pairs of Jordan’s and two pairs of air forces. “Mommy got to make sure her baby look good”. A few hours later, I was beat. I did so much shopping for my baby people were offering to hold my bags while I waited for the bus. A good friend of mine from the секунда grade gave me a ride home. Ты know it’s really funny when Ты see people that Ты haven’t seen in years in the weirdest places. Its been so long since I seen her, she didn’t even know I was pregnant. We got to my house and she carried all my bags up the stairs. She really got strong over the years. I remember in секунда grade she was so skinny and weak, everyone used to make fun of her. I was her best friend so Ты know I backed her up. She had to go to work so I told her to свинг, качели by the baby душ tomorrow when she gets a chance. I started to put the baby cloths away when someone knocked on my door. I thought it was Kennedy forgetting her car keys but it wasn’t. When I opened the door it was……MIKE!!

Last summer I went to Los Angeles to stay with my cousin for a few weeks. One afternoon we were having lunch in a nice restaurant in the centre of the town when my cousin got a call on her mobile phone and went outside to talk. While she was speaking to her friend,I suddenly noticed a man in a black hat who was sitting at the Далее table. It was the actor Johnny Depp!He was alone, and I decided to take my chance. So I got up and went to his table:'Excuse me,could I have my фото taken with you?'I asked. He сказал(-а) yes,so I stopped a waitress who was passing by and gave her my camera. She took the фото of me and Johnny,I thanked them both, and then I returned to my table. When my cousin came back,I smiled.'Why are Ты looking so pleased with yourself?'she asked.
'I had my фото taken with Johnny Depp.'
'Johnny Depp?Where is he?'
'He's sitting over there.Look!'
She turned around to look and then started to laugh.
'That's not Johnny Depp!'I looked at the man in the black hat-he was laughing too.

Ты held up your тыква spice finger,
With a playful wink,
Your sweetness saved me several times,
When I was on the brink,
The warmth within your spritely smile,
Allowed me to be real,
Your cinnamon and sugar hugs
They taught me how to feel.
I'd run down to the coffee shop,
So I could see your face.
You've seen me at my happiest,
You've seen me in disgrace.
And though you're always beaming,
Still I feel the need to say,
It's okay if Ты have some days,
Where your spice fades away.
