Should I continue или not? [The ones in Italics are the parts I'm unhappy with]
For a vampire – a suspect of being one, really– she seemed pretty... human. With my job as a Vampire Seeker, she wasn’t like any of the other cases of Вампиры I had discovered. With all the raving stories of Вампиры I suppose they had to be more... careful with their special diet. But still, a vampire with these little reports, it was... strange, for lack of a better word. Perhaps we just had to get еще information; yes, that was probably the case.
I sighed and flipped my notebook shut. Putting my pencil back in its holder, I straightened up. I was supposed to be cleaning my стол письменный, стол but... I guess I got sidetracked. That seemed to happen еще and еще these days, but there was hardly anything I could do about it.
‘Crystal!’ called a sharp voice, and then I heard three taps on I my office door.
‘One minute,’ I called, opening my drawer and hastily shoving all my papers in it. So much for organizing. ‘Come in.’
‘Hi,’ сказал(-а) Lily, walking in with a big grin. ‘Guess what I learned in my shift?’ She held up a notebook, embroidered with the usual CM of our logo. I gave her my full attention now, grinning as well.
‘You got еще information on unknown?’ I asked excitedly. We didn’t know her name yet, so we couldn’t call her by her name.
‘Yeah,’ she сказал(-а) passing the papers to me.
‘Awesome!’ I glanced at my watch. ‘Aww, I have to go to school!’
‘What time is it?’ asked Lily. ‘Surely it won’t matter if –”
‘No, I can’t skip school – или be late!’ I added.
I dashed to the door and grabbed my bag, swinging it over my shoulder. ‘See Ты later!’ I hollered, running through the hallways.
A few people waved, but most of them ignored me. Pushing open the entry door, I absorbed the warm sunshine. It felt so good... I started to walk up to my school, getting closer and closer with every step, wishing with all my might I could go somewhere else. It wasn’t that I hated school; as a matter of fact, I normally loved it! I just had a hard time concentrating. I looked up. My school wasn’t too far from the agency, I was already here.
I walked through the hallways as the колокол, колокольчик, белл rang. Why couldn’t the колокол, колокольчик, белл actually sound like a bell? или better yet, they could play the sound track of Harry Potter. I turned a corner and knocked into someone. ‘Sorry,’ I muttered.
‘It’s okay,’ she said, smiling at me before walking off. I ran my fingers over the walls of my school. I had been doing that for a long time now. Perhaps it was because I half-hoped something would actually happen, like a hidden passageway that led to the lair of a beast, one that ate humans. I had been told by some people that I had a vivid imagination, but I don’t think so.
I rushed up the stairs and to my locker. Dialling the combination, I opened my locker and put my bag away, taking out my books. I was deliberately being as slow as possible, as if time would speed up to make me late. No еще wasting time now that I had done everything. I locked my locker and proceeded inside. Just as I walked in, the колокол, колокольчик, белл rang. How ironic. I took a seat, and my teacher, Ms. Prentice, walked in. I sat down, shoving my binder into my desk, idly wondering how long I could go without talking, then how long I could go without writing.
‘Good morning, class!’ called Ms. Prentice.
‘Good morning,’ we chanted back.
‘Today for homeroom we will be going outside,’ she said. How great.
We all lined up and walked outside. It was a bit chilly, but в общем и целом, общая normal. At least, it felt that way to me. Some of the other students were shivering. As soon as I reached the field, I crossed it in brisk steps towards the very end. There were a clump of trees that I liked located over there. I sat in the shade, picking up a цветок as several stories bloomed in my head. I closed my eyes and imagined I was sailing through the sky on a broom, hands outstretched for the Snitch... I was a dragon, flapping my wings and breathing fire... I opened my eyes as I heard a branch shift.
‘Hi,’ сказал(-а) Elaine, smiling slightly. ‘What are Ты doing?’ she asked, sitting Далее to me.
I shrugged. ‘Nothing, really. Who’s your teacher?’
She rolled her eyes and said, ‘honestly, if I had a –’
‘Yeah, yeah,’ I muttered. ‘Save the Цитаты for math class или something.’
‘Math class?’ she inquired.
I grinned. ‘It’s the most boring of them all.’
She grimaced. ‘No, math is fun. Language is really boring!’
‘I find science the worst of them all,’ сказал(-а) a voice. Glancing up, I noticed Kelly had joined us.
I raised an eyebrow. ‘You two are crazy. Science and Language are the best!’
‘Yeah, Ты just like blowing things up in science!’ replied Kelly, grinning.
‘Well, that’s exactly why science is the most fun!’
‘You’re just lucky Ты got a nice teacher. We have Mr R.’
‘Does he allow experiments?’ I asked.
‘Not at all,’ replied Elaine.’
‘Well, science can still be fun without blowing things up! It really depends on the subject.’
‘Well, I think it depends on the teacher.’ Kelly made a face.
‘Well, I think science depends upon what we get to do!’ [E]
‘Yeah, we all have a point.’ [K]
‘Anyway, Language is so much better than science, unless you’re blowing things up.’ I got to my feet.
‘We have to get going, come on.’
I ran up to the double doors and paused to catch my breath. Pushing the doors open, I followed the class inside. Back in the classroom, we all took our seats, chatting quietly.

It's soft like a blanket
It's cold like ice
We can't help but gravitate towards it
Even though it's not always nice
It gives us scaly pets
And sharp toothed nightmares
или clucking little friends
It cools us off during the summer
Let's us кататься на коньках on it during winter
Makes Ты laugh with your friends
или steals your breath
When it covers you
It refreshs Ты
It cools you
Warms your toes
Tickles you
Freezes Ты
Unforgiving ocean
Deep dark lake
Roaring river
Stale creek
Please with all ado
Let me thank Ты too
