Is YOUR Character a Cliche "Mary Sue"? 

pft! my character is not a mary sue i just didn't get the instructions she a bad ass character that hates herself

I'm sorry but this quiz is ridiculous. My character got a 43 and I only checked a small fraction of the total questions applying to him. Also, some sections of the quiz are devoted to a single question and screws up the result of the quiz. Granted though, this is a good guideline for avoiding cliche's. The problem is it'll end up discouraging too many writers because it seems near impossible to get a passing score on the quiz without the character being a complete bore.

I got 22> Some definite Sue-like tendancies here. A little polishing might be in order to put original fiction and RPG characters back into the balance, especially if Kirking is involved. Fanfiction characters should probably have some work done.

I love this quiz, I think it's the best Mary-Sue test available on the net, and it really helped me with writing. When I first discovered it I got around 40. By slowly eliminating the factors described in the test I managed to create better characters.

Now the highest score I got was 19 and I don't think it's that bad.

19, Miz has alot that deducts points.
