Is it ok to send BL Манга and Doujinshi from Япония to US?

Hi.
I have a Вопрос about sending BL Манга from Япония to US.
I bought a lot of BL Манга and Doujinshi and sent to my sister.(She lives in Japan)
maybe 20 BL Манга and 10 Doujinshi.
I wonder,,,is that ok to send that from Япония to US?
I'm afraid if we get in trouble to do that...
It's not shota или loli. but Doujinshi is R rated.
Has anyone send from Япония to US?
any trouble? или no problem?
Overseas shipping is available at some Japanese BL store...so I bet people buying from them,,,
