I usually prefer ukes since they are so cute, joyful and beautiful (and look like women >=D )
but in some strange cases I prefer semes, like in gravitation. Yuki is so cool, kawaii, intelligent and so angsty (L)(L)

It depends on the pair and the personality of both characters. It also depends on who you think is the seme and the uke! For ex. In Light x L I like L most people think of him as the seme *for some reason* and I think of him as the uke.
