As the time grew closer, she paced and grew worried. Part of her wanted him there when she left. It would help her more. But another part wanted him to stay away when she left. “How do Ты plan to get away?”
“I don't.”
“Who do think will rescue you?”
“No one.”
Devin nodded.
“I suppose Ты think we won't fight for Ты to stay here.”
“I intended to keep it that way.”
“And Ты expect me to not interfere?”
“You won't get a chance.”
Devin nodded again.
“I see. It was a pleasure being with you.”
“Same to you, Angel.”
Devin gave a small smile and left the room. Tara sighed and leaned against the wall. She wasn't so sure about this anymore. But she had no choice. It was already in action.
