I walked into the lounge to find a huge дерево set up. When I say huge I mean the tip is shadowed by the ceiling. Megan Alex and Connor were starting to decorate. I grabbed a grappling hook and shot it into the rafters. Megan was telekinetically keeping a box of decorations up with her and Alex while Connor and Bat’s had their own box on the floor with them. Alex saw me and smiled.
“Wow. First smile I’ve gotten in a long time” I commented
“Tomorrow’s Christmas. I thought it was time to cheer up. Like my mother used to say: Remember your past, look to the future but live the present” Alex quoted. I grabbed some decorations and swung over to the tree. When I got close, I grabbed on and hung up a couple decorations. Then I swung around the other side of the дерево and put some up there. My cord suddenly snapped and I fell. Without looking, Megan telekinetically caught me and put me on the ground. Alex flew down to me.
“Maybe Ты should work on the дерево down here” she recommended. A couple минуты later, Wally, Artemis and Kalder walked in. Бэтмен saw them and decided his time decorating was done for now. Alex, Megan, Connor, Artemis and I stopped him before he could even leave the room.
”Ah, ah, ah Batsy. Ты aren’t going anywhere” Alex smiled
“I’ll be right back. I have a bad feeling about something” Бэтмен said, going right through us. Not literally like Man hunter dose, though. Alex watched him suspiciously. She flew back to the дерево like nothing just happened, but I saw the way she looked at him. She was so going to investigate. I kept decorating the tree. Finally, Alex made her move. And Wally made his, though what they were for were totally different. I just happened to spot a section of the дерево in ear shot of their conversation that needed decorating.
“Wally, this is a bad time” Alex was saying
“Alex, we need to talk” Wally pleaded
“Fine, but make it quick” Alex groaned
“I really, really, really, really, really like you. As еще than a friend. Ты might consider me family, but I consider Ты as a really, really, really, really, really good friend. If Ты allow it, еще than a friend” Wally сказал(-а) very fast. I didn’t know it was possible to get that many really’s into a sentence. Alex looked at him, almost scared.
“I have to go” She сказал(-а) as she flew out of the room. I ran after her, trying to find out what she was trying to find out. She flew to the mission room, and stopped before she was fully in. She was spying on Batman! I backed up and hid in a door way. Well apparently, Alex had the same idea and back up into me. She whipped around, glaring.
“What are you-“ She was cut off by me shoving my hand over her mouth.
“Shhhh” I shushed her. I peeked around the corner and Бэтмен was gone. I turned back around and was standing right in front of me. We’re dead.
