“Becca, don't be crazy,” Cole began.
“No, I think she's doing fine,” Chase interrupted. “She's only doing things she wants, Cole. Ты know Ты can't stop her.”
“I know. But Becca. Ты have Друзья here.”
Becca rolled her eyes.
“You mean my roommates? Those fools aren't my friends. They talked about me behind my back! The only person living in this house that I trust, is Dick!”
“Then why risk getting hurt?”
Becca glared at Cole.
“You've always had Chase with you, Cole. Ты don't have to go looking for trouble. Chase protects you. Ты protect him. I need to protect Dick at all costs. Even if I get hurt. If he's safe, I'll be fine.”
Chase rested his head on Becca's shoulder, looking at Cole.
“She's got a point. Ты saw those glares; she needs to do this, Cole.”
Cole looked at the two and sighed.
“Alright. But we're going with you!”
Becca smirked.
“You sure? I thought Ты two might have something...else planned.”
Chase laughed at this, Поцелуи Becca's cheek.
“You never fail to amaze me.”
Cole scoffed.
“Let's go.”
“Awww. Jealous much Shape-shifter?”
Chase smirked.
“Whatever Chase.”
Cole turned into a little sparrow, flying out the window. Once in the sky, he turned into an eagle. Chase climbed on his back and Becca opened her wings.
“Let's go boys!” she exclaimed, flying away.
Cole flew after her, screeching out a challenge. Becca laughed, flying through the clouds. She flew around several clouds and flying above many.
“Hey, Bec! City's down below!” Chase called.
Becca nodded and folded in her wings. She plummeted to the ground, opening her wings to make a graceful landing. Chase jumped off Cole's back, and Cole changed back to his human form.
“Now what?” he asked.
“Now we stroll,” Chase said. “We may as well look natural.”
Becca started walking, heading into the middle of town. Chase and Cole followed, keeping an eye on her retreating form. As they got closer, the crowds became thicker.
