Kaname is no more or less protective than Zero, neither is Zero more och less protective than Kaname. Both of them are, as well as both of them loathe each other more than anything else.
But Kaname is so selfish to me it's unbelievable! Zero's inside is so beautiful, while Kaname's only thinks of himself and Yuuki together. In my opinion, Zero, who lost every precious person to him, deffinitely deserves to be with Yuuki more!
Now, since the question is who I'd like to date, since I don't like Kaname at all it's obvious I'd pick Zero <3
