wow that's bad dude, well i say stick up for her make her feel better and comfort in in as many ways as possible and if she feel like she likes Ты ask her out then, but god forbid if anything did happen to her and Ты weren't going out with her then of course Ты will fell bad but i mean not as nad as Ты would if Ты where going out with her :)

Her situation probably requires a hospital stay. If Ты can't visit her there, definitely visit her at home. It will mean a lot. When she's feeling better, Ты can tell her that Ты wanted to ask her out but that she went and burst her appendix. That is, if she has that kind of humor.
