fans were thrown into a tizzy on Friday when series co-creator Ryan Murphy announced at TCA that season 8 would be set in the future.

Murphy has now revealed to EW that his long-time star (and muse) Sarah Paulson would have a very specific look for this installment. “Sarah Paulson is very excited about the dental appliances she will be wearing on the show,” teases Murphy.

It’s unclear what sort of tooth horror Paulson will be facing but Murphy says next season will haunt viewers. “It’s set in the near future,” says the producer. “It has nothing to do with anything you’ve ever seen before. It’s really chilling.”
