At Year's End Minific challenge

^^I bet they are. Sorry I've not been around there much. I told Mara the reason why (she really wanted me to participate). Basically the lack of voting in the challenge I did before really left me feeling down and disappointed (only Joppa voted, thank god for her) and then Thursday always manages to get a lot of people to participate (which is lovely and great) and especially after how crappy mine went I felt really depressed. I know people get busy and couldn't participate which was cool, but then like one person voted and I did promote it around the place for weeks. It just made me feel really down for the writers who did write 15 fics and no one read or would vote after the time they spent doing it.

Sorry for the rant. I'm still kinda muffed about it....

For my part, you already know why I couldn't participate, but I didn't vote because I couldn't find the place to vote. That's probably on me, though, because I don't know how to deal with LiveJournal. I've always had problems navigating it, which is why I'm rarely on it.

I took second, BTW. The first place person had 41 fills, I had 39.

And Millie, I totally understand you and I'd feel completely the same. I was checking out the updates and was really surprised and disappointed I was the only one who voted. I really don't understand why was it so hard to vote / I am excluding Kim from this rant/. Maybe they just didn't care since it didn't affect them directly. Whatever the reason, it was at least disrespectful to the writors and you. Don't let it fet to you too much. For what is worth it, I really enjoyed those fics.

That's okay Kim. I know you are still learning how to use LJ. I ain't mad at you.

Thanks Joppa and I really appreciate that you took the time to read each entry and vote. The writers appreciate it as do I. Usually we may get not many votes but this is a first for only one vote and it did leave me feeling very sad I won't lie. It's just Thursday manages to inspire a lot of excitement and activity that I can never do, which is great and lovely and I'm jealous of that tbh. So yeah, I feel bad that I didn't participate because Mara really wanted me to but I couldn't. I really just felt down after the 15in15 challenge. It took me hours to come up with the rules, make the posts, make the banners, which is probably why I'm feeling disappointed. I mean I do it for the fun of it, but when we only got two people participating and then only one person vote, it's natural I think to feel disappointed after the work that has been put in.

Of course you feel disappointed and sad, it's completely normal. You've put a lot of work in that and you should have gotten more results. It's not you so don't blame yourself.

I've started reading!

I have read all 30 of you fics and I have enjoyed them. I did review them on fan fic since that is where you first posted them I do understand why they were so short but you know me I like to read very long stories.

There are still 9 more to go!

I know I am super slow with this but I am having my regular panic crisis at uni.

So I've read them all and I cannot say which one is my favorite!
I've loved the ones with Thor, so amusing! And I could totally picture it!! ( and I would pay to see it)
"Ye Olde Stag Party" is the one you said I ( fellow nerd ) would love. And I totally did :D By the way, I loved the idea and I really wished I could attend something similar!

I was really amused by that "remake" of your true story and a bug! And honeymoon as well!

The Paris one and the one called "Light and Shadow" (where Gwen draws Arthur) are probably my favorite ones.

I do love "Ye Olde Stag Party," too, because it was an experiment with a new format and it's just silly.

Oh. There is one expanded version out there now, just posted last night. The Princess Gwen/Blacksmith Arthur one has a full version...

All of the pieces I managed to read were great - loved the full, expanded story by the way!

I loved the expended story. It was so weird to imagine Arthur as a servant. It just made me laugh! However, imagining Gwen as a princess was easy. And I believe that is how Tom would react, even though we saw almost nothing of him in the show.
