What did u guys think of Dan and Blair as a couple?

well seeing as Chair is my otp it's hard liking other couples, specially Dair. I remember clearly the ship war in the 5th season and it was bad. to my surprise I Любовь Dan's character, but hated his guts when he tried to win Blair, and hate the fact that he had to lie and drag Chuck'S name through the mud in order to do so. I like Dair but only as friends, the banter, the jokes but thats it! Always knew they didn't stand a chance against CB but the moment the writers decided to make them kiss, they were ruined, not to, mention that it the process they completely made a mockery of the supposedly otp of the gossip girl universe, which is derena! The fact that somehow entertained me through this wretched storyline which was Dair, is ther relationships to call it that, it showed how incompatible they were, no spark, just a bunch of stuff in common, they should never got together. ..so that's that, always loved chair and in the end true Любовь prevailed

to me, dan for blair, was еще of an escape than anything else. it was obvious in the way that blair was acting. she obviously wanted to turn away from the reality she was in. and thats were dan came in. he was just a normal, ordinary guy, and at the time, thats what blair felt she needed in her life, normality. and she could spout as much bullshit as wanted about being in Любовь with dan, but her actions, and her totally out of character behaviour towards chuck сказал(-а) it all. the REAL blair, would never look twice at dan, she could hardly stand him, and she was very predudiced towards him and his family. i mean, she was the Queen of the uppereast side for crying out loud, she was the total opposite of dan in upmost way possible. nothing she сказал(-а) или did, even suggested that she and he would be together. tho, i do think that she cared about dan deeply, it was NOTHING whatsoever compared to her intense, all consuming and passionate and uncondidtional feelings that she had for chuck. and as for chuck, well, his actions and his behaviour сказал(-а) everything we needed to know, i think that it literally killed him to think that he Остаться в живых the Любовь of his life to brooklyn boy of all people. can Ты say HUMILIATING?????!!!! as far as i could see, dan and blair had an awsome frienship, but romantically??? uhuh!!!! NO, NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS!!!!! , no passion, no chemistry, no trust, no uncondidtional Любовь whatsoever!!! there could only ever be one guy for blair, and is, and always will be charles bartholemew bass. and for chuck blair waldorf will always be his nubmber one girl. CHAIR FOREVER!!!!

It's was the worst couple in the world. I wanted to vomit everything I saw them together.

I absolutely hated the sight of Blair with Dan, though after losing her baby, seeing Chuck close to death & having Louie basically keep her prisoner, I can understand her not wanting to be vulnerable. So dateing Dan, her close friend would make little bit of sense.
