There has been some controversy on which side Cad Bane is on. Most think he's the bad guy, when really, he isn't on either side. It is сказал(-а) frequently that he is on his own side. He has a very non-stereotypical view in that aspect, because he doesn't support the Separatists или the Jedi Council.
People tend to dub him as a bad guy based on the fact that he does jobs that benefit the Separatists, however, as a bounty hunter, he completes jobs he's paid for. Perhaps the Jedi are too dignified to hire him to do their dirty work. At any rate, he is simply doing his job as a bounty hunter. (and he does a pretty kick-ass job, too)
