OK what I got from reading that is LJ Smith is definitely Team Delena>>>you can tell lolll But it seems like her publishers and her have different view points so even though she wants Damon and Elena......the publishers may do something ti the contrary. Well all we can do is hope its Delena.

Well she didn't really answer any of my questions and the first bit is kinda cringy but here it is:

Would it surprise you to know that the first four Vampire Diaries books were written and published long before Twilight came out? They were bestsellers in the early 1990s. That's why the characters in the first books have no cell phones, no laptops, no iPods. I only just began to add to the series recently, because I felt that there was more to tell about Elena, Stefan, and my favorite bad boy, Damon. When I wrote them and the Night World series (which includes the soulmate principle, quite similar to "imprinting" or whatever it is in Twilight) in the 1990s, I didn't expect them to be republished so many years later in every corner of the world!
I'm glad to know you like Damon and Elena together--but please realize that many other fans like Stefan and Elena or Damon and Bonnie. My readers like all sorts of combinations! :)

Here in England the weather isn't very good. It's been raining a bit this morning, but the weather is pretty cool.

I will admit I don't like it when it gets really really hot, like when I went to Spain last year, I thought I would die from the heat, but I think it's probably because I'm used to Manchester weather.

Yeah that's why you have to read the books. I'm telling you I know LJ Smith said she hasn't decided who Elena will pick yet, but the way she has written Delena, in my eyes at least, means that any other ending than DE wouldn't make sense.
