It has to be something intense and probably emotional for Damon to be 'VULNERABLE' - key word here. He also said it's been 'waited for.' It's not like DE haven't had arguments before, so it has to be something major. If it were Kevin or even Julie, normally I would be sceptical, but it's Ian! He should know what constitutes as 'steamy'! But in the face of adversity and chaos, Damon still has a really good time. But [the scene with Elena] is steamy and it's been waited for ... you get a really big, huge glimpse into Damon's vulnerability and what the power of attraction can do.
