The writers mentioned two times about Elenas possible future as human who get old and have children. Once by Elena herself and Johns letter. And Damon saying that humunity is what he misses the most. Although I have had moments where I have been frustrated and angry with Elena, I still regard her as deserving of Damon's love. Now with the last two episodes, I think my respect and Любовь for her shot through the roof. Especially in this last one, how strong she has been through so much horror and tragedy. She could have ran like Katherine или took the easy way out, but no, she stayed and fought for her family and friends. I think this may have been the first episode where I truly cried for her. A lot of writers are pro DE! Ты just have to know that who wrote 2x21 were Mike Daniels and Caroline Dries, who are openly Team "DamonToMyElena"..and they did a wonderful job this episode, the whole episode, I can feel their Любовь for DE, is very palpable! Think about that. There weren't SE scenes, and they could have put them. At least one even if the episode was about the ritual. I just Любовь how Damon's name was the first thing that came out of Elena's mouth. I mean she looked at Jeremy first, and could've сказал(-а) HIS name, but then Ты see her look straight at Damon and then says his name.

I miss John a little. I hated him when he tried to kill Damon and Stefan but I loved it when showed a caring side for Elena and her safety just like a real father should. I really think the Funeral scene when Elena looked up at Damon is huge for Delena. I think it is foreshadowing what is to come. I really think Elena has remembered Damon's Любовь confession, and that may be why she looked at Damon while John was saying "I will Любовь Ты all the same...", It just has to mean something. out of all the people at the funeral Elena looked at Damon, no one else, It is no coincidence , it is Fate.
