When I was little, she was one of my favourites then I remember not liking her so much. But now I'm starting to really like her again.

I border between liking and loving her. I love her bubbly energy and her dreams, and her optimistic nature and how driven she is to make her dreams come true, but often, I think she is just too selfish and spoiled for my tastes. Overall though, despite my many problems with her, I do like-love her character a lot.

Although at this point of my life Rapunzel is the one I relate to the most and feel the strongest emotional attachement to, Ariel will always be my bb girl, the first Disney princess I was introduced to because TLM was the first movie I watched in my life, and my favourite Disney princess in general.

i hate her so much. She and her movie are terrible. Only good thing that came out of her is Melody.

I loved her as a child but Rapunzel is now my clear favorite and I appreciate others more.

I don't hate her. In fact there is only one animated character, who I hate, and that's not Ariel. However, I strongly disapprove of her actions and her selfishness.

BelleAnastasia I'm just curious who is that character if no secret. I'm just really curious because I'm generally incapable of hating animated characters with the exception of ONE and he is not from Disney.

@maryksand: I think BelleAnastasia said that it was Jane from Return to Neverland. I may be wrong, though. Anyways, Ariel has been battling Cinderella for my favorite princess, and current she holds the title.

Well, the only animated character that I came really close to hating with passion was Tom from "Daria" MTV series, but other than him I can't help but enjoy most of the animated characters from the shows/movies I watched to a more or lesser extent.

She's my favorite forever! I'm the Ariel (mermaid) of my family and I've always had a connection with her because I love the sea and being in water and of course her voice! I hope to have a voice like hers if I keep singing and sing part of your world reprise to my prince! I love you Ariel!
