So, by picking an option you don't have to mean you wish the movie actually was made in that era, just which would you be most interested to see if it had been. I think the times I put were clear, but just in case, classic would be back when Walt Disney was in charge, in the Snow White/Cinderella/Sleeping Beauty days, Reneissance is in the middle (80's and 90's) like the little mermaid, and modern is now :)

I picked this because Walt Disney did consider doing the little mermaid, and I've often wondered what his version would have been like. I was going to leave some off, the ones I thought wouldn't be any different (for example modern Mulan or modern Pocahontas would probably be pretty much the same) but figured there was no harm putting them in case someone wanted the option.

Edit. I just noticed I left of the 'the' from the little mermaid, and it's too late to edit it. It's silly, but that's going to bug me, lol.

I'd be really interested to see how Mulan would've been handled back in those days. A female character as strong as her would be something they weren't at all used to, but it's not like they could make her weak to fit in with the times better, since the entire point of her story is her joining the army and saving the day. Seeing how they would have chose to go about making her movie back then would be the one I'd most like to see. I'd also like the renaissance Princess and the frog, because while I liked that movie I felt it had more potential. Like some of it's songs lacked the same catchy, classicness of earlier Disney. I'd like to see Walt Disney's version of the little mermaid too.

If all the Classic and Renaissance princesses were switched around...it would be interesting to watch Classic Ariel, Belle, Pocahontas, and Mulan, as well as Renaissance Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora. Tiana as a Classic would be interesting too. They all would be.

I agree with Asvini. I want to see a Renaissance Princess and the Frog for the same reason. I'm fine with the other movies. I'd pretty much want everything during the Renaissance but I'm comfortable with how they are.

I love this story the best.

But I thin modern would be lame. It would lose some of the magic.
