she doesn't wear anything THAT spectacular in the movie

She is a princess, yet she dresses as if she were a lowly harem girl. It makes no sense at all to me. never did.

^^Um, Muslim princesses do live in the harem. And Jasmine didn't really want to be a princess, remember? It's not about whether it makes sense, it's about whether the outfits look good.

Either way, that doesn't make her clothes any less pretty to me- after all, a lot of Tiana's outfits aren't fit a princess.

Anyway, I think that her clothes are ugly (pouffy like 1980s fashion!)and she looks like a $20 hooker! ;)
