Please explain this picture.

I think the Doctor is pouring out memories to that sun thing/god/demon thing. Is he giving the thing his memories, или just sharing them? Does he remember them or, by giving them to that sun thing, does he forget them?
Please explain this picture.

destroying it's need to feast on the souls of Akhaten..or something like that. I could be wrong of course!
