Biography

Emma Stone was born Emily Jean Stone on November 6, 1988 in Scottsdale, Arizona. While growing up she acted on stage with youth theater groups in Phoenix, Arizona. At the age of 15, she convinced her parents, Krista nee Yeager (a homemaker) and Jeffrey Charles Stone (CEO and founder of an Arizona-based construction company), to let her move to Los Angeles (with her mother) to pursue an acting career.
