How much does someone have to contribute to a spot to get a medal?

I'm not after getting еще medals, I was just surprised to see that I did get one еще this spot and I don't think I've contributed that much here except for a few Статьи and Фан pick questions, so that's why I'm asking, I'm 'not' complaining I'm just confused?
