well yes it is unfair in my opinion because many people who are fans of myra will vote for her just for that reason, it's different to campaigning for yourself which is what that pick is about

I would also to be mad to find out someone had put that on their motto because i would always wonder if i had actually earnt it or whether some had just voted cause of that......but you know what ever *Shrugs* i can't be arsed arguing

If I saw someone's motto that read: Vote for me on FotF" - I wouldn't vote for them for that reason alone.

Well, In my own opinion, it's fair, because no one forced them to do it. Myra didn't blackmail them or hack their accounts to do it. It wasn't like the voters were under gun point.

Okay Debs here`s how I feel. It doesn`t matter how my girl Syd won but she did. The point of me using my motto was for people to vote for her so what`s wrong with that? She deservedly won and my motto didn`t do that. Just because I have a lot of fans, doesn`t mean people will listen to me. People will vote for who they want regardless. I don`t mean to call out Temptasia, but on that pick that was mentioned she put "please vote for me" on her motto and no one gave a crap. So whoever would like to win a future poll just mail me and I will put you in my motto. I obviously have a lot of "say" on Fanpop. Pfft, give me a break. Congrats Syd, you deserved this! Wow,wow,wow, I apparently missed something that was going on. I did NOT really understand Flamey's comment in regard to Myra supporting Nadia and whatever Myra's motto was then it's changed now (just did some profile stalking,lol). However, I detect that some people are put out by Myra's fervent support of Nadia. Why?
The way I see it, all I have to say is "good on you, Myra!" Myra has done absolutely nothing wrong here by encouraging users to vote for someone that she believes is worthy of it. What reallyyyy is the difference between Myra saying it in a motto on her profile or users saying right here on the pick? Because everytime we vote for a user and make nice comments that's what we are ALL doing. I also see this conflict as an insult to Nadia AND that's wrong!
Anyway Sydney,although I voted for Jody I know you are a huge contributor to the pop and above all you are one of the nicest users, your comments are always sweet as are your emails.

It does seem that some users (not just you Deb, others have expressed similar views)are getting their knickers in a knot about Myra encouraging support for Sydney on her profile. I just don't get why anyone would be upset by someone being nice enough to do that.
