It was called Maisie Williams: "No dress is worth giving up a sword"
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
Maisie Williams: “No dress is worth giving up a sword”
Earlier this month, Maisie Williams and Aidan Gillen sat down with
during Berlinale, AKA the Berlin International Film Festival. Gillen was there to promote his starring turn in the film
which was part of the festival line up. Williams didn’t have a movie to promote (I suppose Berliners aren’t that into Channel 4 productions.) Instead she was sent by the British Film Council as the UK’s representative for the European Shooting Stars program. Though neither of them were there to promote
Pictures of Maisie dressed in Fitriani at the event hit the web to high approval from fashionistas.
also noticed and asked her about having to play a tomboy all the time on
Video of Maisie’s answer, plus Aidan Gillen’s acting advice after the jump….
It’s too bad she doesn’t get asked about Season 5 spoilers, though I suppose since we know she will finally be getting to wear skirts in the up coming season, there’s not much more to spill on that front. Other than “why” anyway.
Meanwhile, Gillen wasn’t asked anything about
directly–marking some serious restraint on the part of THR. Most outlets don’t care what the actor or actress is there to promote–if they are on–or were on–
, they get asked about it. Instead, he was asked a more general question, or what the best acting advice he ever received was.
Gillen also sat down with the director and cast of
and talked about that film. If you are interested, the video of that is here.

Either Maisie’s wearing high-heels, or Aidan Gillen’s about the same height as me dad. Always proud I ended up taller than him…Me, not Aidan Gillen, that is.
