What happened to Brian? He's one of my favorites. Also how is Donna? I know she was sick, is she coming back to GH?

I think Ты will find that even though he had a Фан following he was often at odds with Jason, Grant and the rest of the crew. Although I never heard an official reason for his departure I believe this to be the root cause.
