Why didn't Harry recognize Nagini as Bathilda ?

In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, Harry and Ron meet Bathilda Bagshot.
We know that Nagini killed Bathilda and is inside her corpse.
But we also know that Harry is a Horcrux and that is why he can hear other Horcruxes talk to him ( we hear whispers when he is near them ).
So why don't we hear anything like that when Harry is talking to Bathilda if Nagini is a Horcrux ?

Also, since he didn't know he was a Horcrux yet, and the locket was the only other one they'd encountered, he wouldn't have known what he was sensing if he did detect something.

Probably for the same reason he didn't realize that the two men in the flashback scene from Half-blood Prince were conversing in Parseltongue, that he was so caught up in the moment that he didn't realize it!
