In your opinion, what happened to Hiccup's mom?

I've been having this Вопрос in my head for quite sometime and whenever his mom is mentioned, I'm always wondering what happened to her. My guess is that she died while being part of the Outcast или she was killed by a dragon before the movie started. I don't know. It's my opinion.
